Andrew Meader, son of Samuel Meader (1765-1843) [0130] and Louisa Higgins (1795-1844), was born in Ryegate, VT in 1824. According to A. A. Meader, he "left home in early life, never afterward heard from." The History of Ryegate says he "went to Massachusetts." Andrew Meader is listed in the 1860 Ohio Census as then living in Cuyahoga County with his wife Maria, 30 years old. He was then 37.
